Fixed-fee, scoped and quoted in writing.

Most clients engage us on an ongoing advisory basis rather than for one-off compliance. Every engagement is scoped and quoted in writing before any work commences. Indicative figures are shown below; the final scope and fee is confirmed during the strategy call.

Most clients engage us on a monthly retainer. The retainer covers compliance, BAS, quarterly advisory reviews and year-round access to a senior accountant. One-off returns are available, however the value is delivered through the ongoing advisory relationship rather than the lodgement itself.

F

Included in every engagement

Standard inclusions.

Senior accountant on file

The accountant who scopes the engagement reviews and signs out every deliverable. No delegation through juniors.

Strategy included

Retainers include year-round access for ad-hoc questions and pre-decision sense-checks that other firms bill hourly.

Lending awareness

Financial reporting is prepared with consideration for what it presents to a lender, not as a separate exercise.

Fixed-fee certainty

Fees are quoted in writing before commencement. Scope changes are discussed and agreed before any further work proceeds.

Frequently asked

Pricing and engagement questions.

Are fees fixed once quoted?

Yes. Fees are scoped and agreed in writing before commencement. If additional work arises outside scope, for example an unanticipated ATO review, we'll discuss the revised scope and fee before continuing.

Do you match cheaper quotes from other practices?

No. Fees reflect the seniority on each file and the depth of advice provided year-round. Where price is the primary consideration, another firm will likely be a better fit.

Can we engage you for a single tax return?

Yes, fixed-fee returns are listed above. Our real value, however, is delivered through the ongoing advisory relationship rather than the annual lodgement.

How is the appropriate retainer band determined?

We review entity structure, transaction volume and advisory requirements during the strategy call, then issue a written fee proposal. Where the business sits between bands, the retainer is tailored.

Can you manage a handover from an existing accountant?

Yes. We manage the ethical letter, collect the working papers and coordinate the ATO agent transition. In most cases the changeover is invisible to the client.

Do retainers include lending and structuring advice?

The Established and Enterprise retainers include lending strategy and structuring advice as part of the standard scope. The Growth retainer includes structural awareness in quarterly reviews; specific structuring projects are scoped separately.
